Sam Gisiner
What’s up guys! I’m Sam Gisiner, and I’m a junior studying Computer Science and ACMS. I grew up in a suburb of Chicago knowing very little about Notre Dame, and nothing about Baumer Hall. Now, I’m proud to call it my home. The past two years that I have spent at Notre Dame and as a Buccaneer have been the best of my life. I couldn’t be more excited for the year ahead and to serve as the president of the best dorm on campus. Other than Baumer, I also love skiing, music, ice cream, movies, and swimming. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions by email before move-in, or just a knock on my door in the fall. Go Bucs!

I am from Sonora, a smaller town in Northern California. Since becoming a part of Baumer I knew it was a special place and I feel so blessed to call it my home. Being one of the vice presidents of the 2026-2027 year for Baumer, I cannot wait for everything that we will bring to you during the rest of the year. Additionally, I love the outdoors, including scuba diving, hiking, backpacking, or anything outside.

I’m an incoming sophomore who could not be more excited to serve Baumer on Hall Council! Baumer has absolutely been the biggest blessing I could’ve asked for at Notre Dame. I’m truly honored everyday to call myself a Buc on campus. In my free time, I love playing golf, fishing, skiing, and playing basketball (Baumer Interhall team coming for it all this year). Can’t wait for this next year!

On July 2nd, 2025, I was given one of the greatest blessings of my life: being placed in Baumer Hall. Saying I “hit the jackpot” is an understatement. Baumer Hall is a unique community of inclusivity, support, and connection that made my first year at Notre Dame truly special. As I go into my sophomore year, I am excited to be a part of the Hall Gov team so that I can continue to help grow our community and make every Buc feel welcome in their new home. Besides all of the incredible activities I enjoy in Baumer, I love wakesurfing, backpacking, and playing interhall sports.
